Winter Hazy
Dreams have passed years and years,
Nothing within;
I’ve sat and waited here,
My dreams too thin.
Snowflakes, they come and go,
Glistening waifs;
Snowbanks inside me, though—
They’ve come to chafe.
Oh, winter hazy,
Stop at the door.
You’re never coming home;
Haunt me no more.
